The run-up to Christmas is always a whirlwind — twinkly lights, a hundred half-finished to-do lists, and that familiar feeling that time is sprinting while you’re just trying to keep up. This year, the festive rush has collided head-on with an especially busy period at my full-time job, and I’ve found myself teetering on the wobbly edge of burnout.
Running Earthy Crunch UK brings me so much joy — the creativity, the packaging moments, the shared excitement over earthy textures and smoky flavours — but it’s still a one-person operation. And lately, even the loveliest parts have been swallowing more hours than I realistically have to spare.
So, in the interest of protecting my energy (and let’s be honest, my sanity), I’m making a gentle shift back into what this little clay venture was always meant to be: a hobby. A passion project. A crunchy, earthy corner of the internet that brings delight, without taking over my entire schedule the way clay sometimes takes over your stash boxes.
To help keep things manageable during this busy stretch, I’ll be temporarily reducing shipping days to Mondays and Fridays. This allows me to focus on quality, care, and consistency — without burning the candle at both ends until it’s just a sad little wick.
