Montana Red by Taste Montana is one of the most purely earthy edible clays you’ll ever experience. Hand-foraged by Samantha Hokulani from the rich red soils of Montana, this rare find offers a uniquely satisfying texture — much like chocolate. Each crumb-sized piece delivers a crisp crunch that melts effortlessly in your mouth, leaving no mess — just pure bliss. The structure is soft yet compact, breaking cleanly before dissolving into a smooth, creamy slush.
The flavour is wonderfully complex: it begins with a deep, muddy topsoil earthiness — that unmistakable taste of fresh soil after rain, almost like rainwater soaking into a freshly dug garden bed. Then comes a subtle, delicious release of petrol-like tones (⛽️), giving it a distinctive mineral kick without overpowering the natural earth flavour. It’s grounding, nostalgic, and mouthwatering — a true sensory experience that celebrates the essence of natural clay.

Note: To preserve its smooth, melt-in-the-mouth texture, keep slightly damp in an airtight container. If it dries, a few drops of water will restore its natural moisture. Comes in a reusable plastic container for freshness — I wanted to stay true to Earthy Crunch UK’s eco-friendly promise of no single-use plastics but this is a product best kept damp so not plastic free but does come in a container that can be re-used in future so please keep it.

Broken items are not eligible for refunds, as the flavour and enjoyment remain the same, even if the item arrives in pieces. Each parcel includes a wooden spoon to help you enjoy crumbs or powder just as easily.
