Details

Shree Pots by Lavi capture the soulful taste of Indian soil in a soft-medium crunchy terracotta clay pot with a naturally dusty finish. Shaped like a miniature vase, this piece breaks easily into chewable chunks and transforms into a smooth, creamy texture in the mouth—without sticking to your teeth. The flavour leans distinctly earthy, with dusty red soil notes, subtle muddy undertones, and that unmistakable petrichor aroma of rain-kissed Indian earth. Whether enjoyed as-is or gently soaked to deepen the aroma and taste, Shree Pot delivers a grounded, nostalgic, and deeply satisfying clay-eating experience for true terracotta lovers.

Traditional Clay Origins:
Terracotta clay has been used across India for thousands of years, not only for pottery and storage vessels but also for its cultural and sensory significance. In many regions, sun-dried and kiln-fired clay pots were traditionally valued for their mineral richness, cooling properties, and earthy aroma—especially during hot seasons and monsoon months. Certain forms of terracotta were historically consumed or nibbled in rural communities, often associated with soil cravings, seasonal rituals, and ancestral practices. Shree Pot reflects this heritage, offering a clay experience rooted in India’s long-standing relationship with earth, rain, and handcrafted terracotta vessels.

Materials + Care

Storage Tips

To keep your clays and treats fresh, crunchy, and full of flavour, always store them in an airtight container in a cool, dry place away from moisture, humidity, and strong odours. Exposure to air or dampness can alter both texture and taste.

We highly recommend using our stash boxes, available on the website — designed specifically to protect and organise your clay collection with ease.

Handling Guidelines

  • clean, dry hands

Fragility Disclaimer

All clay treats and terracotta pot products are handmade and naturally fragile, making them susceptible to breakage during delivery.

While we take great care in packing each item securely, minor cracks, chips, or crumbled pieces may occur. This is a natural part of working with handcrafted clays and does not affect taste or enjoyment.
